Thermic Perception
For my master year I worked with all kinds of heat sources, to see how heat, that normally is invisible to the human eye, can be translated into something interesting and graphical. Here is a small selection of pictures from my research book, snapshots of the master exhibition and filmstills from various heat processes I filmed.
HOTSPOTS
I noticed in the streets that there where spots where snow had melted without any apparent reason. So with the help of an infrared map of the city I went hunting in search of these ''hotspots''.
(THERM)ANTROPOMETRIE
I made a tribute to Yves Klein using infrared cameras. Instead of painting naked bodies with blue paint and using them as stamps, I thought you might get the same shapes just by heat transfer from the body to a wall. Big thanks to M.K. for her body and help!
ACCIDENTAL SCULPTURES
For this class assignment, we had to take pictures of things we found in the street that accidentally had the potential of being art in a museum. We all had to organize an exhibition together and each make a catalog. This is my result.

MiMazu is a party concept that is created by the lovely Michèle Fouquet. The mascot of the electro minimal beats party is a playful cat.
VEDETTE TABLE TENT
Pinkeye asked me to design a table tent for the Belgian beer brand Vedette. I had to use an existing illustration of the bottle and adapt the style to communicate the info. These were distributed throughout the pubs in London.
SHOW ME YOUR SCARS
The assignment for this project was to work around "coincidence". I chose to work with scars, because scars on the body are in our western culture mostly the result of something that happend by accident. At the same time they are markings and memories that we carry.

This wallsticker was made for my godchild Thomas. He has a sea theme happening in his room. I found inspiration in old Italian postcards portraying the upside down world.
